POEM 4 CANDLE LIGHTING
The light that guided us
Brightening the dark and leads the way
The light that taught us
To stand in our own feet and achieve excellence
The light that sought wisdom
Carrier of all things in the mind and heart
The light never made us fail to realize
How the world opened its gates of opportunities
And how something can begin from nothing
The light, though weak and surrounded by the dark
Found its own glow and for the night it shall burn
The light, symbol of hope and beginnings
The light of this evening to guide us in our lives
As we travel through our pathways
And lead us to our destiny
The mother candle in its own beauty and grace
She’s the holder of wisdom of hope and of love
Of through which we gathered the strength and overcome the challenges
The sacrifices of the pure heart
For the youth to always realize
Her light shall continue burning forever
And light millions of souls in her words and teachings about excellence and knowledge
